Pure fluid joy

There's nothing like the sensation of submerging in water and then moving through it. Cool. Silent. Calm. Blue.
I feel dolphin-like. Sleek. Graceful. Agile. Playful.
Being in water soothes me. As I immerse in it, it envelops me - shutting out the world. There is only me and the water, the water and me.
Wonderful.

Many of my happy childhood memories are connected to water. Swimming. Paddling. Sailing. Holidays. Surfing.
My teens seem like one endless summer spent with family and friends in and around the backyard pool. Barbecues. Smiles. Laughter. Fun.
I have loved being in water for as long as I can remember. Lake, ocean, swimming pool . . . even a bath.
Blissful.

For me, it's an innate affinity. I'm not sure why or how. I just soak it up whenever I can.
