I heard this morning about actor Patrick Swayze's death at age 57 after a battle with cancer.The two biggest grossing movies of his career were Dirty Dancing and Ghost. But which one is your favourite? Both provided major movie memories for me during my early 20s and are among my all time favourites. If I had to choose between them, it would have to be Dirty Dancing. I still remember the effect Swayze's portrayal of Johnny Castle and all those muscular handsome dancers had on my impressionable young hormone-packed mind. Hope that's not too much information . . .
I have Ghost on VHS but not Dirty Dancing - maybe it will get a run on a TV channel as a Swayze tribute.

Dirty Dancing - by a long shot. Also The Outsiders. I saw it at high school and was so distraught for hours afterwards and kept weeping at the mention of it.
yes! The Outsiders but out of ghost and DD hands down dirty dancing.

Well as a former competitve ballroom dancer!! I have to say Dirty Dancing...but that scene in Ghost with the clay..well what can I say!!
